The English Section (formerly "International Section") offers an international programme which prepares our students for entrance to universities and colleges worldwide.
Our English Early Years provides a safe, supportive, nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 3 to 6.
Our English Secondary comprises of Grades 6 through 10 and prepare students for the widely accepted International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).
We are committed to providing the highest quality of balanced education to internationally minded students in an inquiring and supportive environment. We aim to develop the whole child not only academically, but also socially, physically and emotionally to become an informed, caring and creative individual, contributing to a global community.
The English Section first opened in August 2007 (then called the "European Section") as an additional section within the German School. It offers a full educational programme in English from Early Years to Grade 10. In the Early Years and Primary school (ages 3-11) children follow the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme as their curriculm framework whilst having the knowledge derived from the Cambridge Scope and Sequence and in Secondary (ages 11-16) children follow the Cambridge Education System to prepare for the IGCSE examinations to be taken at the end of Grade 10.

Students then have the option of staying on in years 11 and 12 (16-18) to follow the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme which gives access to universities worldwide, especially to German universities, because the German language diplomas and the optional German subjects in the IB prepare students best for the high standards and requirements of German universities.
