Art Club : Exploring Still-Life Beauty

by Santosh Kumar

The Still-Life Art Club has been a haven for students eager to explore the world of object drawing using various art media. Throughout the club sessions, students have delved into the fundamentals of still-life composition, focusing on basic shapes, values, and the overall arrangement of objects.

In the initial stages, students familiarized themselves with the different geometric shapes commonly found in still-life arrangements, such as cubes, spheres, cylinders, and cones.

Throughout the club sessions, the students not only developed technical skills but also nurtured their artistic sensibilities. They learned to appreciate the beauty and complexity of everyday objects, finding inspiration in the mundane. The Still-Life Art Club became a space where students could immerse themselves in the art of observation and expression, pushing their creative boundaries with each stroke of the pencil or brush.
