From May 13 to 17, the German European School Manila (GESM) held its vibrant Art, Music, and Drama Week, a showcase of student creativity and talent. The school lobby transformed into a dynamic art exhibition, displaying an impressive array of artwork crafted by students. The exhibition also featured unique crafts and items made by the school's woodworking club, highlighting the diverse skills of GESM students.
In addition to the visual arts, the robotics club showcased their innovative creations. Students demonstrated their own LEGO robots, impressing attendees with their technical skills and creativity.
The week was filled with musical performances held in the auditorium. The program included solo performances, group ensembles, and the school orchestra, providing a platform for students to exhibit their musical abilities.
Leading up to this exciting week, students participated in masterclasses on May 10 with guest performers and music teachers from St. Scholastica's College Manila. These sessions offered valuable learning experiences and prepared the students for their performances.
A special highlight of the week was the performance by the primary theater classes of "Königin der Farbe," a play that captivated its audience. Among the attendees were German language teachers who were visiting GESM for a conference, adding a unique and enriching dimension to the event.
Art, Music, and Drama Week at GESM was a resounding success, celebrating the artistic and musical talents of its students and fostering a deeper appreciation for the arts within the school community.
