We are pleased to report on the exciting activities of Grade 9d in their art lessons! In the latest unit, our students have delved deeply into the topic of "Reading Films - Understanding Films – The Visual Layer."
As part of the course, the students explored various camera angles, perspectives, and framing techniques.
They learned how these elements influence the viewer’s perception and how they guide the audience through the film. This analysis not only enhanced their understanding of cinematic design but also sharpened their critical thinking skills.
As a crowning conclusion to the unit, the students created a short film with three scenes. This allowed them to practically apply their newly acquired knowledge and implement their creative ideas. It was impressive to see how dedicated and motivated the class was while working on this project!
In the upcoming unit, the students will focus on the auditory and narrative layers of films. We are excited to see the new insights and creative results they will achieve.
We look forward to keeping you updated on more exciting developments in the art lessons!
