Coffee Morning: German Language Learning at GESM

We recently continued our Coffee Morning series with a session focused on German language learning at GESM!

Mr. Volker Schlieske, our Coordinator for German as a Foreign Language (DaF) in Secondary, gave an insightful talk on the what, how, and why of teaching German, particularly for students in Grades 6 and up. He shared valuable information on language learning in the Secondary grades, which was appreciated by all attendees.

Dr. Christoph Grandt, GIB Coordinator, also joined the event and discussed the importance of German proficiency for students as they progress beyond Secondary education and into higher education (tertiary level). This was especially important for parents who were considering sending their children abroad for higher education, specifically in Germany.

It was an informative session, and we thank everyone who joined us for this coffee morning.
