The Treaty of Élysée Art Collaboration Project between the German European School Manila (GESM) and Lycée Français de Manille (LFM) has been an inspiring journey of creativity and teamwork. This unique initiative brought together Grade 8 students from both schools to explore and express ideas and emotions through art.
On January 22, 2025, the students’ collective efforts were proudly displayed in the lobby area, creating a vibrant exhibition that celebrated the spirit of collaboration and the enduring bond between Germany and France, as symbolized by the Treaty of Élysée.
The project was structured to promote teamwork and creative synergy. A total of 10 groups were formed, with each group tasked with creating one full-size artwork that reflected the theme of the Treaty of Élysée. The students drew from their diverse cultural backgrounds and artistic perspectives, resulting in a rich tapestry of ideas that resonated with the historical significance of the treaty and its message of unity and cooperation.
