Grade 5E takes on Van Gogh

von Alka Kumar

Vincent Van Gogh's "Starry Night" is a famous painting created in 1889. It is known for its swirling colors and expressive brushstrokes that depict the night sky over a small town. This painting is a great choice for a Grade 5E artist study because it is both visually stunning and has historical significance.

As a Grade 5 art teacher, it was a delight to see my students take on the challenge of replicating Vincent Van Gogh's famous painting, "Starry Night." The students were excited to learn about the history and techniques used in the painting, and were eager to put their own artistic skills to the test.
