On March 28, our talented IBDP Visual Arts students, Laila and Jasmin, proudly presented their final art exhibition in Room C117. This event marked the culmination of their two-year journey in the IB Diploma Programme, showcasing their artistic growth and unique thematic explorations.
Themes and Artistic Techniques
Jasmin focused on the theme of pollution and its future impact, using oil, acrylic, and 3D art to bring her vision to life. Her works highlighted environmental concerns and invited viewers to reflect deeply on humanity's role in shaping the future.
Laila explored relationships and human nature, blending digital art with paper mache techniques. Her pieces beautifully captured the complexities of interpersonal connections and emotional depth.
This exhibition is a critical component of the IBDP Visual Arts course, accounting for 40% of the students' internal assessment grade. It provided an opportunity for Laila and Jasmin to demonstrate their technical skills, conceptual understanding, and ability to communicate ideas visually.
The exhibition was well-received by attendees, who admired the students' dedication and artistic achievements. Both students demonstrated remarkable creativity and resilience throughout the process, from initial concept development to final presentation.
