The German European School Manila (GESM) invites everyone to take part in this year’s 24-HOUR SWIM MARATHON, happening from February 13 to 14, 2025, at the Eurocampus in Parañaque City. In celebration of Valentine’s Day, this event provides a special opportunity to show love and support for a noble cause.
The goal of this event is to raise funds for Children of the Dump Manila, a charity dedicated to improving the education and livelihood of families living near Metro Manila’s largest dumpsite. Thanks to the success of previous swim marathons, the charity was able to purchase a service vehicle that transports children to and from the school they built for children of the dumpsite dwellers. This year, we aim to continue the momentum and make an even bigger impact.

When pledging a donation or sponsoring a swimmer, your contribution will be based on the number of laps completed within the 24-hour period. Last year, we achieved a record-breaking 7,265 laps—let's see if we can beat that number this year!
This event is not only a great way to get involved, but it’s also a chance to show your heart and contribute to a lasting change for children in need.
