On Thursday, April 18, during the Houses of Primary, we discussed Earth Day 2024's theme: Planet vs. Plastic. The Student Houses first brainstormed about ways they can reduce plastic waste and watched a compelling video as to why plastic is harmful for us. Afterward, we injected some elements of fun and creativity as the children designed their own one-of-a kind "recycling walk" outfits.
In the end, Houses of Dresden and Frankfurt got the highest points for creativity, which were then added to their overall scoreboard.
The children had lots of fun and at the same time became more aware too about refusing, reducing and recycling!
