On Saturday February 15th, our GESM”s U-15 (Division 2) Boys basketball team played at Beacon School. The second competition of their campaign at the Manila International Schools Athletic Association (MISAA) tournament saw a heated and good game for three quarters before Beacon’s squad pulled away to win in the second half by a score of 50-29 on their home court.
This group of boys showed solid heart and determination, despite three starters from the previous game being unable to play.
Competing for GESM were: Grade 5 - Jio and Yuto, Grade 6 - San and Pablo, Grade 7 - Iago, and Grade 8 - Sebastian, Brandon and Max.
With at least two more expected league games this year, our goal is to build our program and possibly participate in the final tournament in May.
