In line with our vision to empower the students of GESM to become lifelong learners committed to a sustainable future, the class 7D started a project on how to save the environment. Each student held a talk about an environmental problem, which was bothering him or her especially. The goal was to find “big solutions”, with which the politicians worldwide could help solving the problem, as well as “small solutions”, where we can take action in our everyday life. The kids came up with a lot of different, interesting projects, tackling topics like: global warming, mass husbandry, destruction of the rain forest and more. In the end, the students were able to link these topics with each other to understand the bigger picture.
