"Viel Spaß" at the Fun Farm

by Antje Regber

Last Thursday, the children of the German kindergarten took a trip to the Sta. Elena Fun Farm in Laguna.

After a small morning snack, they set off on the bus heading south. All the children were very excited and curious. They speculated and discussed what activities they might do that day.

Upon arriving at the Fun Farm, the children immediately headed for the large climbing frame and bravely climbed all the way to the top.

Next, they went on to boating, an obstacle course, the sand playhouse, and many other exciting stations.

In addition to physical activities, the children were able to enjoy nature. In small stalls, guinea pigs, rabbits, and turtles awaited feeding. A carabao pulled the children around the grounds in a cart, and there were free-roaming chickens to marvel at everywhere.

However, the highlights for the children were definitely the zipline and riding two large horses.

All the fun and excitement made them hungry, so the children enjoyed a delicious picnic.

Everyone had so much fun that they didn't want the day to end. But eventually, it was time to head back home. So, after a farewell ice cream in the afternoon, the bus took us back to the school.

What a great day!
