What's a bicycle doing inside the classroom?

The German section 3rd-graders were also puzzled by this when they came into the room in the morning. In the project lesson, it turned out that a bicycle is an excellent example of how energy can be transformed. The children operated wheels, pedals and brakes and found out that you can generate electricity with your own muscle power and that there are other forms of energy besides electrical energy.
